Code the Blocks (CTB) combines the fun of playing with Lego blocks with the power of Python. No previous programming experience is required for these tutorials.
Placing a block in the "blocks" pane (on the left) is as easy as using the following code in the source pane (on the right) and hitting the Run button below:
Drag to pan and shift-scroll to zoom in the left-hand blocks pane.
Don't worry too much about what all of that code means. We'll talk about that more in the next lesson.
For now, feel free to mess around with the source pane and hit Run to see what that does. Try to guess what those numbers mean and what happens when you change them. Think about how to place multiple blocks. Maybe try arranging them in fun ways!
When you're done, hit the "Next" button to move on to the next lesson.
